Applications are invited for purely project based temporary positions under different R&D projects at North East Unit. Candidates having appropriate qualifications in relevant subject/specialization with consistently good academic record and experience may apply.

Junior Research Fellow (2), 12,000/pm+H RA	Masters degree with 55 % in Life Science/Wildlife Biology/Zoology/ Environmental Sciences	Experience of Research on avifauna and shifting agriculture.	In-House Project: “Shifting agriculture : Issues and options with focus on adaptive interventions to make it ecologically, economically and socially viable”.
Project Officer (2), 30,000/pm (for a period of four months only)	Masters degree with 60% in Environmental Sciences/Wildlife Biology/Zoology/Botany with 2-3 years Research Experience	Experience of Research on wildlife management/ biodiversity conservation.	“Preparation of wildlife management/ biodiversity conservation plan for Trans Arunachal Highways”.
Senior Research Fellow (02), 14,000/pm+H RA	Masters degree with 60% in Life Science/Social Science/Environmental Sciences/ Agricultural Science with 2 year Research Experience	Experience on extention activities and working with communities.	GOI-UNDP Project: “Biodiversity conservation through community based natural resource management in Arunachal Pradesh”.
Junior Research Fellow (1), 12,000/pm +HRA	Masters degree with 55 % in Life Science/Botany/ Forestry/Environmental Sciences	Experience of field survey & herbarium preparation; taxonomy of plants.	In-House Project: “Response assessment & processing of knowledge base to serve long term management and use of biodiversity in the Himalaya – focus on Tawang- West Kameng BR (Proposed) in Arunachal Pradesh”.

Age Limit: JRF 28 years, SRF32 years, Project Officer 45 years. Relaxation for SC/ST/Women/PH and OBC as per Govt. norms.
