Applications are invited for
purely project based temporary position of JRF in DST funded project. Candidate
having appropriate qualifications in relevant subject/specialization with
consistently good academic record and experience may apply.
POSITION AND
EMOLUMENTS: JRF
(1), Rs.14, 000/ pm. + 10% HRA; for NET qualified otherwise Rs. 12,000 pm. +
10% HRA.
QUALIFICATION: M.Sc. in Mathematics /Geology/Earth
Sciences/ /Environmental Sciences /Remote Sensing /Geo- Physics or M.Tech. with
specialization in Hydrology/Glaciology /Environmental Science &
Engineering/Water Resources/Geological & Geophysical Technology with minimum 55% marks.
DESIRABLE: Knowledge of computers, MATLAB, soft computing techniques (such as Artificial
Neutral Network),hydrological modeling.
And RS/GIS.
NATURE OF DUTIES: The work includes hydrological modeling, simulation using soft
computing techniques, satellite data
processing using RS&GIS techniques and data collection in the field at High
altitude area; Appointment will be initially for one year.
AGE LIMIT: JRF. 28 years. Relaxation for
SC/ST/Women/PH and OBC as per Govt. of India norms.
