Applications are invited for following post to be filled at NCCS, Pune.
POST: Technician ‘B’ (Laboratory):
NO.OF POSTS: One Post-UR,
SCALE OF PAY:Pay Band No. 1 of Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 2800/- (TME Rs. 21842/-)
AGE LIMIT: 30 years.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: ESSENTIAL : 12th Pass with Science with two years full time Diploma in MLT having 7 years experience in the R & D Laboratory OR B. Sc. with 3 years experience.
DESIRABLE : A candidate having significant expertise in biological science, microscope study of tissue and fine understanding of body’s immune system along with ability to perform microbiological procedures; culture and isolate micro-organisms; analyze and interpret information from microscopy; preparing, reading and interpreting slides with knowledge in computers and running codes for bioinformatics applications will be preferred.
An application in the prescribed format * with recent photograph and the attested copies of the certificates should reach to The Director, National Centre for Cell Science, NCCS Complex, Pune University Campus, Ganeshkhind, Pune 411 007, Maharashtra, India on or before 21.10.2011.
Total Monthly Emoluments (TME) includes Transport Allowance and HRA as per rules.
Age relaxation will be available to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government of India rules.
Experience should have gathered by the candidate after acquisition of the essential qualifications.
Merely fulfilling the condition of fulfilling essential prescribed qualifications and experience will not vest any right in a candidate for calling for interview. The Centre reserves the right to call for interview only those candidates who in its opinion are likely to be suitable. No any correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
Applications received after the due date and / or without the copies of the required certificates will not be considered.
Higher start in basic pay may be considered in case of meritorious and outstanding candidates.
The Director, NCCS reserves the right to enhance / reduce the number of posts and also to cancel the recruitment process.
No interim inquiries will be entertained.
Candidates working in Government Departments / Public Sector Undertakings / Autonomous Bodies should forward their applications through proper channel.
The appointments for all the posts excluding deputation, will be made initially on contract for a period of 5 years as per rules. The performance will be assessed by the committee on completion of 4 years and further continuation of appointment will be decided accordingly.
The posts advertised shall be need based without any commitment for its filling.
Age limit and experience may be relaxed in exceptional cases with permission of the Competent Authority.
A demand draft of Rs. 100/- (SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from payment of fees) payable at Pune in favour of Director, National Centre for Cell Science, should be attached with the application form.
