POST: Junior Research Fellow
SPONSORING AGENCY: DBT
PROJECT TITLE: “Identification of potential vaccine candidate antigens of Clostridium chauvoei”.
NATURE OF POST: The appointment is purely temporary on contractural basis and co-terminus with the project. There will be no provision of absorption/ re-employment in IVRI/DBT on termination of the project.
DURATION OF THE PROJECT: For period up to May 2014.
QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL: Master’s degree in Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Life sciences with NET/GATE or equivalent qualification.
DESIRABLE: Working knowledge in molecular biology, microbiology and biotechnology tools such as gene cloning, expression and purification of recombinant proteins, ELISA, handling of lab animals and analysis of data with computer skills.
EMOLUMENTS: Consolidiated Rs. 12,000 (1st and 2nd year) and Rs. 14,000 (3rd year) + 10% HRA as per DBT norms.
AGE LIMIT: 35 years (relaxation for women and SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. of India norms).

VENUE: Veterinary Bacteriology and Mycology division of the Institute
