SKILLS: Ph.D. in Microbiology or Molecular Biology with at least 4 years of Post-doctoral experience in Yeast Molecular Biology. Additional experience in industry will be preferred The candidate must be experienced in cloning, DNA extraction, primer design, PCR, methods for over expression or gene inactivation, southern blotting, northern blotting, Q-PCR, Western blotting, HPLC and basic protein purification and characterization skills. Experience with various vectors and hosts suitable for improving the quality of recombinant protein produced will be valuable. The ability to guide and manage a group of researchers is a must.
