Applications are invited from eligible Ph.D candidates with minimum two years of experience at the Post Doctoral level for the post of Senior Research Associate in a project in the Department of Biochemistry, University of Calcutta, entitled “Cataloguing the Microbial Diversity of Sundarbans in the backdrop of climate change” funded by World Bank at a consolidated pay of Rs. 35, 000 per month.

Consistently good academic records, postdoctoral experiences in reputed organization supported by significant published work is the basic criteria for appointment. Experience in molecular biology techniques , microbial genomics and data analysis is preferable.
