Applications on plain paper are invited from eligible candidates for following positions available in a purely time bound research project entitled" Preventing extinction and improving conservation status of threatened plants through application of biotechnological tools" sanctioned by the Department of Biotechnology,Govt. of India to the Department of Botany, University of Kashmir under the Investigatorship of Professor Zafar A Reshi, D rsZahoor A Kaloo  and Manzoor A Shah.T he project is only for five years and neither the University of Kashmir, nor the Department of Botanywould take any liability (recurring or non-recurring) beyond the duration of the project.

1.POSITION: Junior Research Fellow

 NUMBER: 2

 MONTHLY EMOLUMENTS: Rs. 16000+20%HRA

QUALIFICATION: M. Sc Botany with 55%marks or above.

2 . POSITION: Field Assistants

MONTHLY EMOLUMENTS: Rs. 7500/- only

QUALIFICATION: Matric pass or above with experience of field surveys

Applications along with photocopies of certificates/transcripts of other documents indicating qualification, percentage of marks in the qualifying examination, age and experience (if any)must reach the undersigned by or before2 0-06-2012.
