One Junior Research Fellow
required for the project entitled “ Ferulic acid as a radio protector against
challenges and threats from ionizing radiation: Validation of molecular
mechanism involving NF- B and Nrf 2 cross talking system”, funded by
Life Science Research Board of DRDO, Govt. of India under the supervision of
Dr. Sanjit Dey , Department of Physiology ,C.U.Tenure of the project one year
at present, extendable only on evaluation.

,UCSTA,C.U. , 92,A.P.C.Road , Kolkata -700 009.
ELIGIBILITY : First Class M.Sc. in any branch
of Life Science with NET ( JRF). Candidates having NET( Lectureship ) / Valid
GATE score or M.Tech.( Biotechnology) may also apply.
Candidates should have relevant
research experience on Animal Handling Skills Cell culture , Molecular Biology
Techniques, Radiation Biology or any proven research skills in the subject
areas.
Fellowship will be Rs. 16000 –
16000-18000 + adm. allowance for NET JRF / M.Tech. qualified candidates
otherwith fellowship will be Rs. 12000 -12000 -14000 + allowances as per
sanction of the funding agency and also as per norms of C.U.

requested to bring two sets of complete application furnishing biodata on plain
paper with attested copies of testimonials and originals at the time of
interview.
