Applications are invited on purely temporary basis for one position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on a project entitled “Isolation and Characterization of Insulin-like Peptides from Plants” to be run at Department of Botany, University of Pune. The project is funded under the BioCARe program of Department of Biotechnology, New Delhi.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: M. Sc. Botany/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Life Sciences with first class. Preference will be given to NET/SET qualified candidates.
DURATION: 3 years
FELLOWSHIP: Rs. 12,000/- + 20% HRA. Higher fellowship is possible for NET/SET qualified candidates.
Application Procedure: Submit an application on plain paper with all details such as name,permanent and corresponding address, e-mail, telephone number, educational qualifications etc. Applications with attested copies of all certificates should reach the Principal Investigator Dr. Anjali Kulkarni, Botany Department, University of Pune, Pune – 411007 (anjuabhay@gmail.com ) by the 10th April 2012.
Selection will be made through screening followed by interview at the Department of Botany, University of Pune. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Short-listed candidates will be informed by email and would have to be present for an interview at the Botany Department, University of Pune on the 21st April 2012, with original certificates.
