Applications are invited for following purely project based temporary positions in this Institute. The projects provide opportunity to work in challenging research areas of Himalayan ecosystems.
Candidate having appropriate qualifications in relevant subject/specialization with consistently good academic record and experience may apply.

Project 1 (GBP-EW): Assessment and quantification of forest ecosystem services with special emphasis on pollination in the Indian Himalayan agro-ecosystems

Rs. 22,000 pm. +

Doctoral Degree in
Botany/Forestry/
Zoology/

from a recognized
University.

Coordinate a team of
young researchers,
overseas volunteers

stakeholders for
scientific data
collection in project

of Himalaya.

Age Limit- For Scientist Fellow- 35 years, JRF-28 years, SRF-32 years, Research Attendant-45 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST/Women/PH and OBC as per Govt. of India norms.
Appointment will be made initially for one year and likely to be continued for up to three years based on performance.
