Applications are invited from suitable
candidates for one position of Research
Associate or Senior Research Fellow in a CSIR funded research project entitled “Isolation and identification of
anticancer principle from the mistletoe growing on Chrysophyllum spp”
at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram.
ESSENTIAL
QUALIFICATIONS
a) Research
Associate:
1.Ph.D in Life Sciences with
consistent good academic grades. Excellent practical knowledge of molecular
biology techniques with documented experience in molecular biology techniques
in a good research laboratory.
2.Research publication in indexed
journals.
b) Senior Research
Fellow:
M.Sc. in Biotechnology with two
years research experience as documented by publications in indexed journals.
Additional Desirable
Qualification: Documented animal handling experience.
EMOLUMENTS:
Research Associate: Rs. 22,000/- + 20% HRA per
month.
Senior Research
Fellow: Rs.
18,000/- + 20% HRA per month
DURATION: Three years or till termination of the project
(whichever is earlier).
Only those fulfilling the above criteria need
apply and will be called for selection interview. Selection to Senior Research
Fellow position will be considered only if suitable RA is not selected.

will be co terminus with end of the project.
