Seven UGC-BSR Research
Fellowships, tenable initially for two years are available in the Department of
Zoology (CAS), Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan. Since UGC has recently introduced a
new scheme for Single Girl Child named as Indira
Gandhi Junior Research Fellowship Scheme for Single Girl Child under the
scheme “Basic Scientific Research (BSR)”
eligible candidates may also apply for such fellowship and the same may be
treated as a super-numerary fellowship in addition to the existing fellowships
that are available in the aforesaid UGC-BSR scheme. Research Fellows already
admitted for Ph.D. programme in this department are eligible to apply for the
fellowships.
The value of
fellowship is Rs. 14,000/- per month (consolidated).
Interested candidates, who have
qualified in either NET/SET or RET may apply on plain papers illustrating the
bio-data along with attested copies of mark-sheets and certificates to the
Head, Department of Zoology (CAS), Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan 731235 within 15
days of publication of this advertisement(21 February 2012)
