Junior Research Fellow in Bioinformatics - ICMR Project (SBST)

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the Junior Research Fellow position under the Research Project tenable at the School of Bio Sciences and Technology, VIT University, Vellore - 632 014, as per the details given below: 

TITLE OF THE PROJECT: “In-Silico approaches for designing β-lactamase inhibitors”.

SPONSORING AGENCY:  Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR).

DURATION: 2 Years

PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR: Dr. Anand Anbarasu, SBST, VIT University

POSITION: Junior Research Fellow

FELLOWSHIP: Rs.16, 000/- (consolidated pm) plus 20% HRA.

TOTAL EMOLUMENT PER YEAR – Rs. 2,30,400.00.

QUALIFICATION: M.Tech in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology or M.Sc., in Bioinformatics, Microbiology, Biotechnology.

(Preference will be given to candidates with degree in Bioinformatics or experience in the field of bioinformatics).

DESCRIPTION: The project proposes to explore the stabilizing interactions both conventional and non-conventional in experimentally proven structures of β-lactamases and ESBLs.
