Candidates are invited for a walk-in-interview to be held on dt.23.12.2011 for selection and engagement of the following contractual project personnel under NAIP (WB-GEF) sub-project entitled “Strategies to enhance Adaptive Capacity to Climate Change in Vulnerable Regions” under Component-3B. The post is purely contractual and the engagement/appointment can be terminated at any time without prior intimation or without assigning any reason thereof. The incumbent shall not be entitled for any claim, either implicit or explicit, for absorption in this University, as the post is co-terminus with the sub-project.

QUALIFICATION (i) 1st class in M. Sc. in Agriculture/ Agricultural Engineering/Veterinary & Animal Husbandry/Forestry/ Fishery Sciences/Environmental Science/Life Sciences
(ii) Research / Farm Experience with good knowledge on computer application is desirable.
(iii) Must have aptitude to stay and work in study site in Ganjam District
AGE: Should not exceed 35 years as on the date of interview
REMUNERATION: Fixed Rs.16,000 PM + HRA for 1st and 2nd year and Fixed Rs.18, 000 PM + HRA for 3rd year for non -Veterinary Post Graduates.
Fixed Rs.18,000 PM + HRA for 1st and 2nd year and Fixed Rs.20, 000 PM + HRA for 3rd year for Veterinary Post Graduates as per ICAR (NAIP) rules.
PERIOD OF CONTRACT: Initially for a period of one year and can be extended on satisfactory performance up to 31.03.2013 i.e. up to the end of the project period.
NATURE OF WORK: Execution of NAIP project programme such as: survey, implementation of climate mitigation intervention, recording of observations, monitoring of field activities, laboratory analysis of plant / soil / water samples, data compilation & analysis, social audit, report returns and other project related administrative works etc.
The candidates are requested to report for the interview along with their application, C.V., passport size photograph, with photocopy of all certificates justifying their qualifications and experience and related originals on 23.12.2011 at 11.30 A.M. The interview will be held at 4.00 PM in the Committee Room of Directorate of Research, 2nd Floor, OUAT, Bhubaneswar. No TA /DA will be given to the candidates for appearing the interview.
