WALK – IN – INTERVIEW

A walk- in – interview will be held in a meeting room of  the Dean, College of Agricultural Engineering, JNKVV, Jabalpur on  December 07, 2011 at 11 AM for engaging Research Associates and a Data Entry Operator in “Integrated Agromet Advisory Service (IAAS)” and “ AICRPAM-NICRA” projects at   Jabalpur. The last date of submission of application is December 05, 2011. The appointment will be purely on contractual basis and the incumbent shall not have any claim for regular appointment under JNKVV/ GOI/ICAR project.

1. POST: Research Associate (01) IAAS project

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: M. Sc. (Ag) in Agro-meteorology/ Meteorology / Agronomy / Soil Science /Agril. Physics/ Geo-Physics with two years of research experience of Ph.D. in relevant Agriculture field. Knowledge in computer application.

DESIRABLE: Experience in Agro-advisory  Services, Weather modeling,  Weather Data analysis

PAY (RS.): 23,000/- (consolidated) per month for M.Sc. and 24,000/- (consolidated) per month for Ph.D. and H.R.A. as per VV rules

2. POST: Research Associate (01) AICRPAM-NICRA Project           

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: M. Sc. (Ag) in Agronomy / Soil Science/Agro-meteorology/ Entomology/ Horticulture/Plant Physiology with two  years research experience and knowledge of computer.

DESIRABLE: Experience in Agromet Advisory Services, Crop weather modeling, Climate vulnerability analysis

PAY (RS.): 23,000/- (consolidated) per month for M.Sc. and 24,000/- (consolidated) per month for Ph.D. and H.R.A. as per VV rules

3. POST: Data Entry Operator

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: MA / B.Sc with  PGDCA recognized University, knowledge of Meteorological data entry, analysis of data. Analysis of experimental   data related to Agrometeorology

DESIRABLE: 3-4 year experience knowledge of different statistical software

PAY (RS.): 8,000/- (consolidated) per month.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. Number of positions will depend upon the project requirements.

2. The maximum age limit is 40 years for man and 45 years for women candidates.

3. The completed application form along with attested photocopies of testimonials/ certificates and bank demand draft of Rs. 100/- favouring “Dean, College of Agricultural Engineering, JNKVV, Jabalpur” may be submitted to Principal Investigator  /Nodal Officer, IAAS Project, Department of Physics & Agrometeorology, College of Agricultural Engineering, JNKVV, Jabalpur – 482004 up to  December 05, 2011 till  4 .00 PM.

4. Candidate has to write a name of project in which they are applying separately in their application form.

6. No TA / DA will be paid for attending the interview.

7. The positions are purely temporary and can be terminated on one months notice from both sites.
