Walk-in-Interviews for Project Assistant Level-I&II
Eligible and interested candidates may attend the interview for purely temporary engagement as Project Assistant Level-I & Level-II under different externally funded/CSIR Network Project tenable at Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, Lucknow. Project wise vacancy position and qualifications details are under Date of Interview as on 03.11.2011 at 9.00 a.m.
1. Project Assistant Level (II) 2 Nos.)
Project No. : NWP-0040
Job requirement: Collection, Collation and digitizations of toxicity data on medicinal plants.
Project title: Comprehensive Traditional knowledge Digital Library.
Qualification: M.Sc. 1st Division in Toxicology/Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Life Sciences.
Upper age limit: 28 years
Stipend: 10000.00 per month consolidated.
Duration for which to be engaged: Till March 2012
2. Project Assistant Leve(II) One
Project No.: CNP-237
Job requirement: Field work for monitoring, collection of samples and analysis of stack and ambient
air and water.
Qualification: 1st Class M.Sc. in Environmental Science.
Project title: Monitoring of Environmental Parameters of Obra thermal power station, Sonebhadra, U.P
Upper age limit: 28 years
Stipend: 12000.00 per month consolidated.
Duration for which to be engaged: Upto March 2012.
3. Project Assistant Leve(II)(1 No.)
Project No. :CNP-242
Project title: Ambient Air Monitoring as per NAAQS-2009 and Mass Balance study at NTPC Ltd., Unchahar-Raebareli
Qualification: 1st class M.Sc. in Chemistry plus one year experience of air pollution analysis (PAH’s, Bemzene, metals, NH, O, etc) or 1st class M.Sc. Chemistry Plus M. Tech. Environmental Engineering.
Job requirement: Field work for monitoring, collection of samples and analysis of stack and ambient air and water.
Upper age limit: Not more than 28 years
Stipend: 12000.00 per month consolidated.
Duration for which to be engaged: 16 months.
4. Project Assistant Level (I) (1 No.)
Project No. :CNP-234
Job requirement: Monthly testing and Monitoring of tall stack emission.
Qualification: 1st Class B.Sc in Zoology/Botany/Biochemistry/Chemistry/Life Sciences/Environmental Sciences/Biotechnology/Epidemiology/Any other
Upper age limit: 25 years
Stipend : 8000.00 per month consolidated.
Duration for which to be engaged: One Year.
HOW TO APPLY
Interested candidates for Level I,&Level II position may attend the interview on the fixed date along with duly filled the down loaded application form by attaching the attested copies of all the relevant Certificates etc., and also a passport size photograph may be pasted where the space is provided on the application form. The candidates should also bring their original certificates with themselves on the date of interview.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
1. Age relaxation will be granted up to 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and 3 years OBC categories. The positions are purely temporary on contract basis and co-terminus with the sponsored projects. Based on the performance of the candidates in the Interview, a panel of recommended candidates will be formed which may be utilized as and when the requirement arises in the similar field/area in the sponsored projects in future. Further, the above stipends are tentative and the same will be finally decided based in the emoluments in the sponsored project. The number of vacancies is tentative and may increase/decrease.
2. Tentative marks sheets/certificates and results awaited will not be considered.
3. Candidates who strictly fulfill the eligibility/experience and possess the degree/mark sheet in the aforesaid subjects only should apply for the positions. Mere fulfilling minimum qualification will not entail any right for consideration.
4. NO TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interview.
5. Canvassing in any form and/or bringing in any influence political or otherwise will be treated as
disqualification for the position.
6. Total Tenure as Project Assistant shall not exceed five years in any circumstances. The total tenure of five years shall be calculated as per period spent on one project and/or different projects taken together in IITR or any other lab./instt. of CSIR.
7. Candidates have the option to interact with committee in Hindi.
