The CSIR-IITR, Lucknow invites applications from M.Sc. students for admission to its Ph.D. programme in the research areas given below:
About CSIR-IITR
CSIR-IITR with its manpower and knowledgebase and with over four decades of expertise in toxicological studies, conducts R&D in niche areas of toxicology such as –
· Systems Toxicology & Health Risk Assessment;
· Food, Drug & Chemical Toxicology;
· Environmental Toxicology;
· Regulatory Toxicology and Nanomaterial toxicology.
CONDITIONS FOR ELIGIBILITY:
The candidate should have M.Sc./equivalent degree in any branch of Biological/Chemical Sciences and should have qualified CSIR-UGC-NET-JRF or any equivalent examination. The fellowship should be valid as on the date of joining the programme.

The last date of filling in application form is November 11, 2011.

SELECTION PROCESS:
All applications will be screened by a committee. Candidates, found suitable after the screening, will be called for interview/counselling at IITR. Those appearing for the interview will not be paid any TA/DA.
The decision of the committee with regard to the selection of candidates shall be final.
