Human Genome Meeting
The Human Genome Meeting is currently open for online registration. Please read the registration information carefully before beginning the online registration.
VENUE
HGM2012 will be held at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre (www.scec.com.au) on the waterfront at Darling Harbour, near the heart of the city.

DAY REGISTRATION PACKAGE
Day registrations will be entitled to the following on the day chosen:
Attendance at scientific sessions and industry exhibition; satchel including program; abstract book and list of delegates; morning and afternoon tea on nominated day.
ACCOMPANYING PERSON PACKAGE
Welcome Reception, Meeting Dinner.
The Scientific Programme Committee invites you to submit an abstract for presentation at the Human Genome Meeting 2012.
The deadline for abstract submissions is 15 November 2011
Abstracts will be considered under the following themes:
Personalised medicine Cancer genetics/genomics
Computational biology,
informatics  Complex genetic disorders
(includes epigenetics, ncRNA)
Genetic variation Cellular therapies 
Clinical genetics Genetic pathology
Ethical, legal, social issues Other omics
DNA sequencing Systems biology
Abstracts can be submitted for oral or poster presentation.
Posters will only be accepted for digital display only. Hardcopy posters will not be accepted or displayed at HGM2012.
GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION:
•All abstracts are to be submitted via the on-line submission form on this website. Submission by email, fax or post will not be accepted.
•Abstracts must be no more than 500 words in length and contain information regarding the aims, methods, results and conclusions regarding the research.
•Do NOT include symbols, tables, pictures or diagrams within the abstract.
•Any abbreviations must be spelt out on first use.
The receipt of all abstracts will be confirmed by an acknowledging email. All applications will be considered by the HGM2012 Scientific Committee. All applicants will be notified of the success or otherwise of their application within plenty of time to register within the Early bird Registration phase.
Please note that the space available for all presentations is limited and preference will be given to papers of the highest quality as judged by the Scientific Programme Committee. The HGM attracts a large numbers of submitted papers and the Scientific Committee will look favourably on high quality papers.

REGISTRATION FEES
All fees are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of 10% GST. Registrations made after Tuesday 6 March 2012 must be made onsite at the meeting.
