Applications are invited from persons having requisite qualifications and experience for appointment to the following positions
1. Specialization: Environmental Engineer
No. of personnel: 02
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering followed by M.E./M.Tech (Env. Engg.)
Experience: Experience of 2 years after Master’s degree in the field of Air, Water and Noise Modeling, involvement in the preparation of EIA Reports and EMP, and other environment related projects
2. Specialization: Municipal Solid Waste Management Expert
No. of personnel: 02
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering followed by Master’s degree in Public Health Engineering or Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering
Experience: Total experience of 10 years after Master’s degree, in planning, supervision and commissioning of infrastructure projects, of which 5 years should be in Municipal Solid Waste Management project.
Duties: Support the Team Leader in monitoring the implementation of the Project
Prepare sections of monthly/quarterly reports pertaining to overall implementation of MSW management component s
Any other task relevant to the project that may be assigned by EPTRI
3. Specialization: Site-in-Charge
No. of personnel: 01
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Experience: Total experience of 10 years after Bachelor’s degree, in supervision and development of infrastructure projects, of which 5 years should be in Municipal Solid Waste Management Projects.
Duties: Review and comment on planning, designing, scheduling and execution of the Project
Assist the Team Leader in day to day activities in implementation of the Project
Any other task relevant to the project that may be assigned by EPTRI
4. Specialization: Quantity Surveyor
No. of personnel: 01
Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Experience: Total experience of 5 years after diploma or 2 years experience after degree, in related field.
Preference to those with Municipal Solid Waste Management experience.
Duties:
Review the bills of quantities prepared by the Concessionaire for the development of the project and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and guidelines;
Provide recommendations to GHMC;
Support the team leader in monitoring the implementation of the project
Any other task relevant to the project that may be assigned by EPTRI
5. Specialization: Sociologist / Economist / Anthropologist
No. of personnel:01
Qualifications: Post graduate or Ph.D in Sociology with any of the following subjects
(a) Rural development & Management-Rural Economics
(b) Economic Sociology
(c)Ph.D or post graduate Degree in (i)Social Welfare/Sociology/Political Science/Psychology/Geography/Anthropology/Economics. (or)
(d)Rural Development & Management-Rural Economics.(or)
(e) Economic Sociology.(or)
(f)Demographic studies.(or)
(g)(v)Any Sociology related subject.
Experience: Should have minimum 3 years of experience in any one or more of the following
Design and develop format/ questionnaire for base line survey, social changes arising out of development projects and assessment of data so collected
Evaluation of socio economic status evaluation of both tribal and non tribal areas.
Carrying out R&R studies for people displaced due to developmental projects.
Out of these 3 years, 1 year should be in the functional area, balance could be in consultancy/teaching and the like in the stated area of expertise.
Duties

6.Specialization: Civil Engineers
No. of personnel: 02
Qualifications: M.Tech / B.Tech
Experience: Experience in Survey & Designing is essential.
7 . Specialization: Chemical Engineers
No. of personnel: 01
Qualifications: B.Tech
Experience: Knowledge in Petro-chemical related Industrial Process is Desirable.
Duties: Part time Positions
8. Specialization: Material Testing and Quality Controller
No. of personnel: 01
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Experience: Total experience of 10 years in testing quality and monitoring quality assurance in industry or infrastructure project. Preference will be to those with Municipal Solid Waste management experience.
Duties:Test the Quality of the Material to be utilized for the Project;
Review and comment on Quality assurance and Quality control of the Preparation of quality manuals Any other task relevant to the project that may be assigned by EPTRI
9.Specialization: Mechanical Engineer
No. of personnel: 1
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: Total experience of 10 years in industry or infrastructure projects in design and implementation. Preference will be given to those with Experience in Municipal Solid Waste management,
10. Specialization: Electrical Engineer
No. of personnel: 01
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience: Total experience of 10 years in industry or infrastructure projects in design and implementation. Preference will be given to those with Experience in Municipal Solid Waste management
