JRF vacancy(DNA barcoding of molluscs) at RGCB

 POST: Junior Research Fellow
PROJECT TITLE:  "Biodiversity, DNA barcoding and phylogeny of commercially valuable marine molluscs of India"
PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR: Dr. Sanil George.
SPONSORING AGENCY: DBT
 ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: First Class in M.Sc. Zoology. Experience in Biodiversity studies with published proof and expertise in animal DNA barcoding. The project involves filed work in marine environments and the candidates prepared to do field work only need to apply.  
 AGE: Below 30 years
 EMOLUMENTS: Rs.16,000 /- + 20% HRA per month.
 DURATION: Three years or till termination of the project (whichever is earlier).
 Only those fulfilling the above criteria need apply and will be called for interview

The envelopes must be superscripted with abbreviated title of the project, the advertisement number and job title. Selection to the position will not entitle the candidate to any future positions at RGCB (permanent or otherwise). As with all project positions at RGCB, the position will be co terminus with end of the project.
 In the event of more than 10 candidates being short listed, a written test will be done before the selection interview.
