The following temporary research posts are to be filled up for research under Eleventh Plan Project entitled "Strengthening Research in Biological Control of Crop Pests" "B.H. No. 11947" in the Department of Entomology, N.M. College of Agriculture, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari-396 450 (Gujarat) India.

NAME OF THE TEMPORARY POST: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

PROJECT TITLE: Strengthening Research in Biological Control of Crop Pests

EMOLUMENTS PER MONTH: Rs. 8000/-p.m. + HRA

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: B.Sc. (Agri.)/(Horti)/(Forestry)

GENERAL INFORMATION:

1. The nature of job includes survey work hence the selected candidate has to travel in South Gujarat area; hence driving license of a two wheeler is required.

2. Knowledge of computer is must (Attach necessary certificate).

3. Preference will be given to the candidates having M.Sc. (Agri.) in Agril. Entomology.

4. Knowledge of rearing of insects and their bio-agents will be additional advantage (Attach necessary certificate).

5. The appointment will be purely temporary and on Adhoc basis. Navsari Agricultural University is not bound to provide any employment after completion of the research project.

6. The candidates will have to attend the interview at his/her own cost. Upper age limit should be 35 years.

7. Selected candidate in the project if not perform satisfactorily or for his/her misconduct, he/she will be terminated before the completion of the project without any prior intimation.

8. Eligible candidate has to submit his/her application on plain paper along with complete bio-data (As per proforma), one passport size photograph and certified copies of educational qualification, work experience and age proof. He/she has to produce his/her original certificates at the time of interview for verification.

The candidate will have to remain present at office of Principal, N.M. College of Agriculture, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari - 396 450 (Gujarat) on 20/09/2011 at 9.30 hrs along with full application and all the necessary documents.
