The eligible candidates are invited for Walk- In -Interview to be held on 08.09.2011 at 11 A.M. for the following position at the office of IARI, Regional Station, Katrain, Kullu Valley HP -175 129 (visit site www.iari.res.in)
NAME OF THE PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATOR: Dr. S. S. Dey, P.I.
PROJECT TITLE: “Development of superior “Ogura” based CMS lines for F1 hybrid seed production and diversification of CMS system in Snowball cauliflower: An approach towards indigenization of hybrid seed industry”(LSRB-DRDO)
POST: SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (ONE-1)
AGE: 35 years
EMOLUMENTS: Rs.16000 + HRA per month
DURATION OF THE PROJECT: Up to 31st March, 2012 or till termination.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Essential: MSc. in Horticulture/Plant Breeding/ Genetics/ Biotechnology/ Botany
Desirable: Research experience of vegetable breeding and plant tissue culture.
1. Above post are temporary and renewable on yearly basis based on performance till termination of the project. Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/woman and 3 years for OBC candidates as per ICAR rules
2. The post is purely temporary and is on contractual basis. The selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointment at this institute as the post is co-terminus with the project.
3. The interested candidates may appear for interview alongwith bio-data, original certificates (and copies) and other relevant documents and attested recent passport photograph for interview.
4. TA/DA will not be paid and only those fulfilling the qualification will be interviewed.
