WALK -IN INTERVIEW

(Unreserved under DBT Project)

The Head, Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi intends to recruit one post (unreserved) of Research Associate in the DBT funded project on “ Biofortification of wheat for micronutrients through conventional and molecular approaches”. The details of the positions are given below:

POST: Research Associate

NO. OF POSTS: 1

EMOLUMENTS: Rs 22000/ -month + 30% HRA

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: Candidate with Doctorate in Plant Breeding/ Genetics or in Life Sciences with Plant Breeding/Genetics/Biotechnology as a subject

AGE LIMIT: 40 years on the date of interview

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of field crops, statistical and molecular techniques

Terms & Conditions

Age limit: Not more than 40 years on the date of interview. Age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC.

(i) The post is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially for a period of one year, which may be extended periodically subject to performance till the termination of the project.

(ii) The selected candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is co-terminus with the project.

(iii) The interview of eligible candidates will be held on 30th August, 2012 in the Technical Cell Room, Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi 110012.

(iv) Reporting time: 10.00 AM in PG Lecture room, Division of Genetics, IARI, New Delhi 110012

(v) The candidates will have to bring a copy of bio-data, original certificates, self-attested photocopies of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and copy of recent passport size photograph. The original or provisional degree of award of Ph D is essentially to be brought while attending the interview, failing which candidate will not be allowed to attend the interview.

(vi) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

(vii) Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview.

(viii) Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination.

(ix) The candidates are required to submit the application at the time of interview only in the format annexed along with the declaration

(x) The candidate intending to appear for interview, if any of his near or distant relative is an employee of the ICAR/IARI, has to declare his/her name, designation, nature of duties, relationship in advance in writing so as to reach Dr Anju Mahendru Singh, PI, Grain Quality Lab/Cummings Laboratory,(opp IARI, Post office) Division of Genetics or on email ID: anju_mahendru@yahoo.co.in by 27th Auugust, 2012. If on the date of interview, such declaration is furnished and found that his relative is an employee of ICAR/IARI, such candidate will not be allowed for interview.

(xi) All the other candidates are also required compulsorily to furnish the declaration duly signed in the format annexed and submit on the date of interview.
