DIVISION OF POST HARVEST TECHNOLOGY

Temporary positions of one Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and one Lab Assistant will be recruited purely on contractual basis for the Outreach research Project entitled “Development of export protocol for fresh fruits and vegetables from India” at the Division of Post Harvest Technology, IARI, New Delhi- 110 012. POSTS: SRF

EMOLUMENTS: Rs 16,000+ HRA@ 30% per month

QUALIFICATIONS: Essential: M.Sc. in Post Harvest Technology / Horticulture with Post Harvest Management or post harvest physiology as major subject /Food Technology with specialization in Post Harvest Management of Horticultural crops with minimum 60% marks.

Desirable: Working experience on postharvest technology of horticultural crops. Computer skill with MS Office / SAS

POSTS: Lab Assistant

EMOLUMENTS: Rs. 8000/- (Consolidated) per month

QUALIFICATIONS: Essential: Higher secondary (10+2) pass

Desirable: Working experience in laboratory.

Terms & Conditions

i) Maximum age 35 years for SRF and 28 years for lab assistant (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST and women and three years for OBC candidates),

ii) The posts are purely temporary and shall be filled on contractual basis initially up to March 2012, but may be extended further based on the performance of the candidate or till the termination of the project. The candidate shall not claim any regular appointment at this institute, as the post is co-terminus with the project. The interview of eligible candidates will be held on 27th August, 2012 at 10.30 AM in the chamber of Head, Division of Post Harvest Technology, IARI, New Delhi-110012 Candidate must report to the venue of interview from 9.30 to 10.30 AM.

iii) The candidates will have to bring a copy of bio-data, original certificates, attested photocopies of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and an attested copy of recent passport size photographs(two). No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview.

iv) Concealing of facts shall lead to disqualification or termination.
