Applications are invited upto 20.08.2012 for filling up the following post at Centre for Research in Medical Entomology, Madurai.

1. Technical Assistant – One Post (Unreserved) (Mode of Recruitment through LDCE)

(Pay Band-2 Rs.9300-34800 plus grade pay Rs.4200)

Qualification & Experience:

Essential : 3 years Graduate degree in Life Sciences or Zoology as one of the subjects from a recognised University with three years regular service as Technician ‘C’.

Desirable : 1) Post Graduate in relevant subject

2) Knowledge of Computer Applications or Scientific data management.

Age : Departmental candidates possessing the requisite qualifications will be eligible to compete and there will be no age restriction in their case.

General conditions:

1. Reference ICMR RRs this vacancy falls under 25% by means of Limited Departmental Competitive Examination from amongst Technician ‘C’ possessing University Degree with 3 years regular service as Technician ‘C’.

2. Interview will follow after the Inter Departmental Competitive Examination (written).

3. The post is temporary but likely to continue.

4. The incumbent will be governed by rules and regulations of ICMR/GOI.

5.
