5.Qualifications –	Essential: (1) 1st class M.Sc. in Life Sciences & (2) clearance of CSIR-UGC JRF (3) Strong background in molecular biology and genetics.  (4) Good communi-cation skills. Desirable: Previous research experience in areas of Drosophila genetics, molecular biology.
6.Monthly stipend	Rs.12000/- (fixed) + HRA
7.Age limit	28 years, relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/female candidates.
8.Last date for submission    of prescribed application	17.07.2012 up to 5.00 p.m.

Note: No T.A. is admissible for attending interview and selected candidate will have no right of appointment against any ARI or funding agency’s post.

In case of non-availability of qualified JRF, candidates having M.Sc. degree with at least 55% marks, may be considered for Research Studentship on monthly stipend of Rs.11000/- (fixed).  

The prescribed essential qualifications are bare minimum and mere possession of the same will not entitle the candidate to be called for walk-in-interview.  In case number of applications received in response to this advertisement is large, the Institute may restrict the number of candidates to be called for walk-in-interview to a reasonable limit, on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
