Applications are invited from eligible candidates, for filling up of the post of “Junior Research Fellow” in the DST funded project entitled “Evaluation of Antiepileptic Activity of Medicinal Plants in Animal Models of Epilepsy” under Dr.B.S.Shankaranarayana Rao, Additional Professor, Department of Neurophysiology

NAME OF THE POST: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Masters degree in Neurosciences/Life Sciences /Zoology/Physiology/Anatomy/Biotechnology /Pharmacology or equivalent Masters degree with good academic record

EXPERIENCE : Experience in animal handling, stereotaxic surgery in rodents, recording of rodent EEG, slice electrophysiology, estimation of neurotransmitters, histology and rodent behavioral evaluation

AGE LIMIT: 32 Years

EMOLUMENTS: 16,000 + 30% HRA for I and II Year , 18,000 + 30% HRA for III Year

DURATION OF THE PROJECT: 3 Years

TENURE OF APPOINTMENT: Initial appointment will be made for a period of of One year and same will be renewed every year depending upon the performance of the candidate till the end of the project.
