Applications are invited in plain
paper along with two sets of Biodata and all testimonials duly attested for the post of one |Project
Fellow for a period of one year (consolidated pay of Rs.21600/- per month) in
the project entitled “Innovative
statistical techniques for construction of exposure metrics and qualification
of the exposure to ambient pollution on health” in collaboration with the
department of Environmental Health Engineering, Sri Ramachandra University,
funded by Indian Council of Medical Research, with Dr. Bhaswati Ganguly as
Principal Investigator.
EDUCATIONAL
QUALIFICATION REQUIRED:
M.Sc/M.A. or equivalent degree in Geography, Social Sciences, Statistics or
Health Sciences with minimum 55% marks for General / OBC candidates and 50%
marks for the SC/ST & Physically handicapped candidates in the subjects
mentioned under the head method of selection.
AGE
LIMIT: The age
limit is 28 years (upper age limit relaxable up to 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST, Physically
handicapped (PH) and female candidates, 3 years in the case of OBC category).
Candidates are requested to
appear in a walk-in-interview on 24th July, 2012 at 1 pm at the office of the
HOD, Department of Statistics, 35 Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata – 700019,
along with all original testimonials.
