-IN INTERVIEW (Unreserved under DBT Project)
The Head, Division of Genetics,
IARI, New Delhi intends to recruit two posts for Research Associate and one
post of Field/Lab Assistant in the DBT funded project on “ Biofortification of
wheat for micronutrients through conventional and molecular approaches”. The
details of the positions are given below:
POST: Research Associate
NO. OF POSTS: 1
EMOLUMENTS: Rs 22000/month + 30% HRA
ESSENTIAL
QUALIFICATION: Candidate
with Doctorate in Plant Breeding/ Genetics or in Life Sciences with Plant
Breeding/Genetics as a subject
AGE LIMIT: 40 years on the date of
interview
2. POST: Research Associate
NO. OF POSTS: 1
EMOLUMENTS: Rs 22000/month + 30% HRA
ESSENTIAL
QUALIFICATION: Candidate
with Doctorate in Biotechnology or having three years research/teaching/design
and development experience in Biotechnology/Mol Biology of plant systems after
M.Tech (Biotech)
AGE LIMIT: 40 years on the date of
interview
3. POST: Field/Lab Assistant
NO. OF POSTS: 1
EMOLUMENTS: Rs. 10000/month
ESSENTIAL
QUALIFICATION: 10th
passed. Practical experience of laboratory & field work for at least one
year from a Govt supported establishment.
AGE LIMIT: 30 years on the date of
interview
TERMS &
CONDITIONS Age limit: RA: Not more than 40 years
on the date of interview, Lab/Field Assistant: Not less than 18 years and not
more than 30 years on the date of interview. Age relaxation of five years for
SC/ST & women and three years for OBC.
(i) The posts are purely
temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially for a period of one
year, which may be extended periodically subjected to performance till the
termination of the project.
(ii) The candidate shall not
claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is co-terminus with
the project.
(iii) The interview of eligible
candidates will be held on 16th July, 2012 in the chamber of Head, Division of
Genetics, IARI, New Delhi 110012.
(iv) Reporting time: 10.00 AM for
the post of RA and 2.00PM for the post of Lab/Field Assistant
(v) The candidates will have to
bring a copy of bio-data, original certificates, self-attested photocopies of
all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and copy of recent
passport size photograph. The original or provisional degree of award of Ph D
for RA and 10th pass certificate (for Lab/Field Assistant) is essentially to be
brought while attending the interview, failing which candidate will not be
allowed to attend the interview.
(vi) No TA/DA will be paid for
attending the interview.
(vii) Only the candidates having
essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview.
(viii) Concealing of facts or
canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination.
(ix) The candidates are required
to submit the application at the time of interview only in the format annexed
along with the declaration
(x) The candidate intending to appear for
interview, if any of his near or distant relative is an employee of the
ICAR/IARI, has to declare his/her name, designation, nature of duties,
relationship in advance in writing so as to reach SAO, Division of Genetics, by
12th July, 2012. If on the date of interview, such declaration is furnished and
found that his relative is an employee of ICAR/IARI, such candidate will not be
allowed for interview.
(xi) All the other candidates are
also required compulsorily to furnish the declaration duly signed in the format
annexed and submit on the date of interview.
