Research Associate post(Regulation of root development by auxin and cytokinin mediated signaling) at NIPGR, New Delhi

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the purely temporary position of one Research Associate (RA) in the DBT's Sub-project-5 entitled "Regulation of root development by auxin and cytokinin mediated signaling of Root Development and Nutrition" under the supervision of Dr. Debasis Chattopadhyay, Scientist, NIPGR.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (ONE POST): Emoluments as per project sanction & DBT norms.
Candidates having Ph.D. degree (awarded/Ph.D viva-voce successfully cleared) in any discipline of Life Science or related field. Experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, in vivo experiments with plant, gene-transformation in plant etc, will be preferred. The candidate should have first class/division throughout academic career from recognized University/Institution and research experience as evidenced from published papers in standard refereed journals.
The position is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the project. The initial appointment will be for one year, which can be extended/curtailed on the basis of assessment of the candidate's performance and discretion of the Competent Authority. NIPGR reserves the right to select the candidate against the above post depending upon the qualifications and experience of the candidate. Reservation of post shall be as per Govt. of India norms.
