Invitation of Application for post of 

(WALK IN INTERVIEW)A walk in interview for filling up one position of Research Associate in a NFBSFARA funded project entitled “Development of Spectroscopic Methods for Detection and Quantification of Adulterants and Contaminants in Fruit Juices and Milk” in the Division of Plant Pathology, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi- 110012 on 4th July 2012 at 10.00 AM.

POSITION: Research Associate

CONSOLIDATED EMOLUMENT: Rs. 24000 + HRA 30%

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: PhD degree in Plant Pathology/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Botany/Biochemistry

Or

MSc in the above mentioned subjects with Ist division/ 60% marks/ equivalent OGPA with 2 years of research experience as evidenced from the Fellowship/Associateship/Training/ other engagements. Published research papers will be desirable.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:Candidates having experience in PCR-based and spectrophotometric detection of bacterial contaminants in fruit juices will be preferred.

DURATION: 3 years.

AGE LIMIT: 40 years for men and 45 years for women

Candidates fulfilling all the requirements should bring their application giving full details of academic records and experience along with attested photocopies as well as original copies of relevant documents and passport size photograph.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. Above position is purely temporary time bond and co- terminable with the project.

2. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in interview.

3. All eligible candidates are requested to be present 30 minutes before schedule time on the date of interview for necessaries formalities.

4. No objection certificate from the employer/ university, in case he/ she is in employment elsewhere.

5. Place of work will be IARI, New Delhi.

6. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidates.

7. The Principal Investigator decision will be final and binding in all respects.
