JRF posts in DBT project at Rajiv Gandhi University

Applications are invited for the 2 (Two) posts of JRF under a DBT, Ministry of Science & Technology,

New Delhi sponsored research projects for a period of three years.

Title of the Projects :

1. “Isolation and characterization of hydrogen producing bacteria,(with special emphasis on Assam

and Arunachal Pradesh), for efficient conversion of biomass to hydrogen”

2. “Endophytic fungi of endemic plants of Arunachal Pradesh: Diversity and novel metabolites”

FELLOWSHIP: Rs.16000+ 10% HRA p.m. for the first two years (JRF) and Rs. 18000+ 10% HRA p.m.

for the 3rd year (SRF) will be applicable to NET/GATE qualified candidates. Rs. 12000+10% HRA

p.m. for the first two years and Rs 14,000+10% HRA p.m. for the 3rd year (SRF) for other candidate.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Candidate must possess a M.Sc. in Microbiology/ Biotechnology /Botany

/Molecular Biology or any branch of Life sciences from a recognized University with minimum 55%

marks or equivalent CGPA.

AGE LIMIT: Candidate should not be more than 28 years of age on the date of interview.

PERIOD: 3 years or till completion of the project whichever is earlier.
