IMTECH wishes to fill up
following positions under DBT Sponsored IYBA Scheme against projects entitled “Bacterial Nanowires: Structural studies on
electricity conducting pili from Geobacter species” and “Knowledge-guided semi-rational protein
engineering for production of chiral pharmaceuticals” as per details given below:-
JUNIOR RESEARCH
FELLOW (PROJECTS) - 02 POSITIONS
ESSENTIAL
QUALIFICATION: Masters
(1st Class) in Life Sciences, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Immunology,
Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biophysics, Veterinary
Sciences.
DESIRABLE: Working experience with
techniques related to Molecular biology and Protein Biochemistry.
UPPER AGE
LIMIT: 28 years as on 11.06.2012.(Relaxable
in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH/Women candidate as per rules).
REMUNERATION: Rs. 16,000/- per month (fixed)
plus 20% HRA.
The engagement in the projects is
purely on temporary basis maximum for the period of duration of the
project. However, appointment will
initially be offered for a period of one year to be and will be extended on
yearly basis depending upon satisfactory performance and co-terminus with the
project. The appointment can be terminated by either side by giving one month’s
notice OR stipend thereof. Total duration of appointment in projects in CSIR
Laboratories is maximum of 5 years.
Therefore, if an incumbent switches between the projects, the
appointment will terminate on the day he/she completes 05 years. Please note that it is not an IMTECH/CSIR
appointment and will not confer any right on the incumbent to any claim
implicit or explicit on any position.
Such of the candidates who
fulfils the eligibility conditions may please Walk-In for Interview on 11.06.2012 (Monday)
at 10:30 A.M. (Sharp) in the Seminar Hall of this Institute along with complete
bio-data duly signed and enclosing therewith photocopies of
certificates/testimonials in support of date of birth, qualification/
experience etc. & affixed with latest photograph on it. Original Certificates are also to be produced
for verification at the time of Interview.
No TA will be paid for attending the interview.
