Applications are invited for the position of Research Associates/Senior Research Fellows at the Network Project on Insect Biosystematics, Division of Entomology, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi 110012 as given below:

Essential : PhD in Entomology or
Zoology with specialization in Entomology or M.Sc. in Entomology or Zoology with specialization in Entomology or M.Sc. in Biological Sciences+ at least two years experience in biosystematic studies.
Desirable: Experience in biosystematic studies/biodiversity studies and evidence with publications.


AGE: maximum 35 years for SRF 40 years for RA. [Age relaxation of five years of SC/ST & women and three years for OBC candidate(s)].
The above positions are purely temporary and filled on contract basis for an initial period of one year at a time or till termination of the project, whichever is earlier. There is no provision for reengagement after termination of the project. The selected candidate(s) shall not claim for regular appointment(s) at this institute as the fellowship(s)/post(s) are coterminus with the project.

The National Coordinator will issue the call letter for interview to the eligible candidates after screening. The correspondence will be made to email for those who provide email address. Date and venue of interview will be intimated in this call letter to the short listed candidates.
All the positions are field work oriented and only candidates who are prepared for such duties extending to 20 days/month only apply.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview
