Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of. “Project Assistant” on fellowship awarded by Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India, to Dr. Paramananda Saikia @Department of Biotechnology, University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad
TITLE OF RESEARCH PROJECT: Innate immunity against bacterial infection.
NAME OF THE POST: Project Assistant (01 No.)
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE: First class M.Sc. degree in any discipline of Life Science from a recognized University/Institute. The work will involve protein cloning, expression, purification of proteins and any other research related duties assigned as and when required. Experience in one or more of these will be an added advantage. Preference will be given to one who has extensive experience in molecular biology (cloning and protein expression of proteins). An aptitude for learning new techniques is a must.
AGE LIMIT: Applicants should not have completed 28 years of age at the time of application.
SALARY: Rs. 8,000/- p.m. (consolidated).
DURATION: One Year (extendable on yearly basis, on review of performance). [Applicant should note that the appointment to be made is purely temporary and there is no right for claiming for any regular appointment in the university]
