POST: Postdoctoral Fellow (RNA Biochemistry and Structural Biology)
A postdoctoral position for a structural/molecular biologist is immediately available in Adrian Ferré-D'Amaré's group at the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, National Institutes of Health, Department of Health and Human Services, Bethesda, MD (http://dir.nhlbi.nih.gov/labs/lb/rbcps/index.html). The laboratory is broadly interested in understanding the molecular basis of RNA and RNP function. Experimental approaches range from X-ray crystallography to in vitro selection and next-gen sequencing (see, e.g., Klein & Ferré-D'Amaré, Science 313:1752; Pitt & Ferré-D'Amaré, Science 330:376).
REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants should have a strong record of accomplishment in either structural biology, biochemistry or biophysics, and have less than 5 years of post-doctoral experience.
