WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
Applications are invited through Walk-in-Interview on 21 st February 2012 between 09:00 hrs. and 12:00 hrs. for the following vacancies, purely on temporary basis, in the following ad-hoc research projects.
(1) Name of the Project: “Effect of subchronic of ZYXI, a novel PPAR agoinst for the Treatment of Metabolic Syndrome X in female marmosets”.
NAME OF THE POST: Technical Assistant
NO. OF VACANCY: One
CONSOLIDATED SALARY: Rs.21,140/-p.m (Consolidated)
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: B.Sc. in Biotechnology/Life/Allied Sciences in the 2 years experience or B.Sc with DMLT.
DESIRABLE: M.Sc Candidate with experience in the field of Pharmacology / Toxicology will be preferred. Knowledge of Computer Skills etc.
AGE LIMIT: 30 years
DURATION: One Year
2. NAME OF THE POST: Senior Research Fellow
NO. OF VACANCY: One
CONSOLIDATED SALARY: Rs. 18,000/- + 30% HRA
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: M.V.Sc.(Pathology/Pharmacology), M.Sc.(Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Life Sciences) with 2 years research experience .
DESIRABLE: Candidate with Experience in Toxicopathology will be preferred.
AGE LIMIT: 35 years
DURATION: One Year
(2) Name of the Project Entitled: “Effects of oxytocin exposure on reproduction in adult male and female rat”
NAME OF THE POST: Scientist ‘B’ (Non-Medical)

CONSOLIDATED SALARY: Rs.33,306/-p.m. (Consolidated) ) + 30% HRA
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: MBBS/M.V.Sc degree in the required discipline recognized by MCI/VCI respectively OR 2 years experience or equivalent degree from a recognized University OR 1st Class Master’s degree in required subject or equivalent degree from a recognized University.
DESIRABLE: (1)Doctorate in related science subject or MD from a recognized university.
(2)Additional Post doctoral research/teaching experience in relevant institute(s).
(3) Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools/Data Management
(4)candidate with experience in Toxicology will be preferred.
AGE LIMIT: Below 35 years

2. NAME OF THE POST: Technician ‘C’

CONSOLIDATED SALARY: Rs.17,546/- p.m. (Consolidated)
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: 10+2 with Science subjects or equivalent from a recognized board with 2 years diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from govt. recognized organizations/Institute/Medical colleges plus five yeas experience
DESIRABLE: B.Sc with DMLT degree and having experience in drawing blood (intravenous), sample handing, sample storing, cytological and biochemical tests. Candidates with M.Sc.degree will be preferred.
AGE LIMIT: 30 years

3. NAME OF THE POST: Animal Attendant
NO. OF VACANCY: One
CONSOLIDATED SALARY: Rs.11,068/-p.m. (Consolidated)
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: 10 th Passed with 2 years animal handling experience (rats,mice etc.)
DESIRABLE: Animal House Keeping experience and bleeding and Laboratory cleanliness, glassware washing etc.
AGE LIMIT: 28 years
DURATION: One Year (Extendable another One Years)
GENERAL:
1. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH Candidates will be as per the government rules.
2. Qualification/degree should be from the reputed Institution/University.
3. Mere fulfilling the essential qualification/experience does not guarantee for selection.
4. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
5. No TA/DA will be paid either for attending the interview or joining the post.
6. Persons already in regular time scale service under any Government Department / Organizations are not eligible to apply.
Candidates must bring along with them all the relevant documents in original and one set of attested photocopies of the same and one passport size recent colour photograph.
