Applications are invited for appointment to the post of Senior Research Fellow in the World Bank Funded NAIP research project entitled ‘A value Chain for Kokum, Karonda, Jamun and Jackfruit’ at Dapoli. The appointment will be on for contractual basis and the incumbent shall not have any claim for regular appointment under ICAR. The tenure of appointments will be initially for a period of six months from the date of appointment and can be extended. The appointment may be terminated at any time without notice or assigning any reason thereof. The candidates possessing required qualifications given below may appear before selection committee, NAIP-KKJJ, Department of APE, College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, DBSKKV, Dapoli – 415 712. a) ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS ANY FROM BELOW: M.Sc. Food Microbiology / M.Sc. Food Biochemistry / M.Sc. Microbiology.
b) DÉSIRABLE: Experience in Research experimentation and Data analysis , Computer Literacy.
b) REMUNERATION: Rs. 16000 + HRA per month consolidated.
No accommodation will be provided.
c) AGE LIMIT: 35 years for men, 40 years for women

Terms and conditions:-
1. The candidate has to submit a bio-data in prescribed format enclosed by E-mail.(Candidates can also submit bio-data 30 minutes before on the date and time of Walk-ininterview.
2. The above position is purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project.
3. The applicants must bring with them original documents and a brief of research work carried out during Post Graduation along with one set of photocopy at the time of interview.
4. The selection committee will interview the eligible candidates. The applicants will have to appear for the interview on scheduled date and time at their own cost.
5. There is no provision for absorption / re-employment in Dr. B. S. Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth / ICAR after completion of time bound project.
6. Place of work will be Dr. B.S.K.K.V., Dapoli.
7. No objection certificate must be required in case he / she is employed elsewhere.
8. Experience certificate in original (if any)
9. No separate interview call will be issued to candidates.
10. The selected candidates will be required to give an undertaking in the prescribed format on stamped paper of Rs. 100/-
11. The Principal Investigator reserves the right to reject one or all the applications at his discretion without quoting any reason thereof.
12. If selected, the candidate has to serve the project at least 6 months.
