Eligible candidates are invited to attend Walk-in-interview for one post each of Research Associate and Senior Research Fellow under “National Initiative on climate resilient agriculture for XI plan” to be held on 19th January, 2012 at 11.A.M in the “ATIC building” of the complex at Umiam.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: Master Degree in Plant Breding/Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Plant Physiology / Agronomy Agro-metereology /Environmental Science. Working knowledge of computer, ability to speak or understand local languages is desirable.
MAXIMUM AGE LIMIT: 40yrs for men and 45yrs for women candidates for the post of Research Associate and 35 years for men and 40 years for women candidates for the post of Senior Research Fellow.
No TA/DA and official accommodation will be provided for appearing in the interview. The posts are purely contractual and co-terminus with the project and having no provision for regularization. The Director reserves the right to cancel/postpone the interview without assigning any reason thereof. He also reserves the right to terminate the contract, even before completion of the project for which no appeal thereof shall be made. Emoluments payable are as per approved rates of ICAR.
Candidates are required to bring all relevant documents, certificates and mark sheets in original along with an application with full bio-data addressed to the Director of the Institute. A passport size photograph may also be affixed on the top of the application enclosing photocopies of certificates and mark sheets from Matriculation/HSLC onwards duly attested.
