NAME OF THE PROJECT: “Toll like receptors in Farm animals Evolutionary lineages and application in disease resistance.”
DATE OF INTERVIEW: 28.01.2012 at 11.30 am.
POSITION: Senior Research Fellow
NO. OF POSITION: One (01)
DURATION: Upto March, 2012 and likely to be extended.
SALARY: M.Sc. Rs. 16,000/- p.m. + HRA,
For Veterinarian (MVSc) Rs. 18000/- p.m. + HRA
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS.: Master’s degrees (M.Sc/M.V.Sc) in       Biotechnology / Animal Genetics & Breeding / Animal Biochemistry / Animal Physiology / Life Sciences / veterinary Sciences.
DESIRABLE: Working experience in basic molecular and biochemical techniques, RNA handling, real-time PCR and gene expression analysis.
I)          The upper age limit for SRF will be as under:-
1.         35 years for Men.
2.         40 years for Women
3.         Age relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules.
II)        The applicants must bring with them original documents and a brief of research work done during post graduation, and latest two passport size photographs.
III)       Number of positions is tentative and there are possibilities of increase or decrease.
IV)       A panel of selected candidates will also be made which any be utilized for filling of positions of shorter durations in future if demand arises.
V)        NOC from the employer shall be produced in case the candidate is employed elsewhere.
VI)       Experience certificate in original, if any.
VII)      The above positions are purely on temporary basis and are co-terminus with the project.
VIII)    The continuation of the positions depends upon the progress reviewed every six months.
IX)       No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
X)        Any other clarifications can be hand on the date of interview.
XI)       The Director’s decision will be final and binding in all respects.
