WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
The walk-in-interview for the positions of Research Associates and Senior Research Fellows in various projects will be conducted at this Institute on the date/time and venue and other details shown against each position on contractual basis. The eligible candidates are invited to appear before the Selection Committee for Walk-in-Interview for the position of RAs and SRFs at NDRI, Karnal, as per schedule indicated against each.
1. DBT Research Project entitled “Development of transgenes for in vitro expression in buffalo mammary gland epithelial cells” Under Dr. M.S. Cahuhan, PS & PI, ABTC Division, NDRI, Karnal. | SRF (01)One Rs. 18000/- per month +HRA (with NET qualified) Or Rs. 14000/- per month + HRA (without NET qualified) | Upto 25 Sept., 2013 | ABTC Division, NDRI, Karnal On 12-12-2011 at 10:30 A.M. | Essential: M.Sc/M.V.SC. degree in Animal Biotechnology / Biotechnology /Biochemistry / allied Sciences. 2. 3. Research Project entitled “National Initiative on Climate Resilient Agriculture” (NICRA) under Dr. R.C. Upadhyay, PS, DCP Division, NDRI, Karnal | RA 02 (Two) Rs. 24000/- per month + HRA as applicable for Ph. D and Rs. 23000/- per month + HRA as applicable for Master Degree with 2 years experience | Till March 31st 2012 | DCP Division NDRI, Karnal on 16-12-2011 at 10:30 A.M | Essential: Ph.D or Masters Degree in the following subjects with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average in any one of the following disciplines (Animal physiology/ Biotechnology) and at least 2 years of experience in Biotechnological research. Desirable: Knowledge of computer, M.S. Office, internet access is required. |

NAIP Research Project entitled “Molecular basis of capacitation like changes in the assessment and prevention of cryodamage during cryopreservation of bovine spermatozoa (Buffalo and Crossbred Bulls)” under Dr. S.K. Atreja, PS, ABC Division, NDRI, Karnal. | SRF 01 (One) Rs. 16000/- per month + HRA for 1st and 2nd year Rs. 18000/- per month + HRA for 3rd year for Post Graduate in subjects other than Veterinary Science. 7. NAIP Research Project entitled “A value chain on Composite Dairy Foods with Enhanced Health Attributes” Dr. A.K. Singh, Sr. Scientist, DT Division, NDRI, Karnal. | RA 01 (One) Rs. 24000/- per month + HRA as applicable for Ph. D and Rs. 23000/- per month + HRA as applicable for Master Degree with 2 years experience | Upto June 30, 2012 | DT Division, NDRI, Karnal on 26-12-2011 at 10:30 A.M. | Essential: Ph.D or M.Sc./M. Tech. with two years of experience in Dairy Technology/Food Technology /Dairy Engineering/Dairy Microbiology/ Dairy Chemistry/Dairying & Food Engineering/Post harvest process & Food Engineering /Microbiology/ Biochemistry with specialization in dairy & Foods. Desirable: Experience of using analytical instruments like Texture Analyzer, Viscometer, HPLC etc. and pilot scale dairy and food processing equipments. Knowledge of statistical software like MS-Excel, SYSTAT. Prolificacy in use of computer applications. |
AGE LIMIT:
40 years for Men and 45 years for women in case of RA on the date of Interview.
35 year for Men and 40 years for Women in case of SRF on the date of Interview.

The above positions are purely temporary and will be filled in on Contractual basis. The selected candidate shall have no right/claim for regular appointment at this Institute as the fellowship is co-terminus with the Project/Scheme. Interested candidates may attend Walk-in-Interview on the dates as indicated against each project/scheme alongwith original certificates and typed bio-data with one set of attested copies of each their certificates with passport size photograph. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. All eligible candidates are advised to be present at least 30 minutes before scheduled time on the date of interview for necessary formalities. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidates.
