The eligible candidates may attend the WALK IN INTERVIEW for the post of Tech Asstt. (1 No) to be held on 7th December, 2011 at 1100 a.m. at Library Committee Room, CIFE (New Campus), Off Yari Road, Panch Marg, Mumbai – 400061 and Project No.2 for the of Research Associate (1 No.) the interview is held at 11.00 a.m. CIFE, Committee Room (Old Campus) Seven Bunglows,Versova, Mumbai . for the following project entitled :-
1. BRNS Project “Studies on present status of marine radioecology and biodiversity at Kalpakkam coastal sites” (Duration : 3 years)
POST: Technical Asstt. (1 No.)
QUALIFICATION: Minimum Graduation in Fisheries, Life Sciences or Chemistry.
PAY SCALE: Rs.10,000/-p.m.
2. “Capture and Removal of Ammonia from fish processing waste water using Archaea” (Duration: 3 years)
POST: Research Asstt. (1 No.)
QUALIFICATION: Ph.D Degree in Microbiology/Fisheries Microbiology, Proven work on phylogenetic analysis and microbial diversity. Work experience on cloning, sequencing and good knowledge on ecological indices of are necessary OR Masters degree in Microbiology/ Fisheries Microbiology with at least 2 years experience as evidenced from fellowship / associateship / training /their engagement.
Publication indicating work on microbial biodiversity and activity.
PAY SCALE: Rs.23000/- + HRA p.m.
