Research Technician / Project Assistant(host cell factors responsible for survival and death of Leishmania) in the DBT at Bose institute

Walk-in-Interview will be held on 9th December, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. in the Microbiology Seminar Room at the Centenary Campus, Bose Institute, P – 1/12, C.I.T. Scheme VII M, Kolkata-700 054 for two positions of Research Technician / Project Assistant in the DBT sponsored project entitled “Identification of the host cell factors responsible for survival and death of Leishmania” under the guidance of Prof. Subrata Majumdar, Division of Molecular Medicine. The project is tenable for five (05) years but the positions are strictly for two years. Details of the qualifications, experience, fellowship and age are as follows:
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: B. Sc. or M. Sc. degree in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Zoology, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology.
RESEARCH EXPERIENCE: Experience in DNA recombinant technology and plasmid library screening.
STIPEND: Rs. 15,000/- p.m. (consolidated).
AGE: Below 28 years (relaxable in case of SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN candidates only as per rule).
Eligible and interested candidates should appear before the Selection Committee for the interview with a typed application addressed to the OFFICER ON SPECIAL DUTY, Bose Institute, P – 1/12, C.I.T. Scheme VII M, Kolkata-700 054 along with Bio-data giving details of qualification and attested copies of the Certificates, Mark-sheets and Testimonials. Candidates should also bring the original Mark sheets, Certificates etc. at the time of the interview.
