Position of JRF and laboratory assistant in DBT funded project
1. Applications are invited on plain paper from UGC-CSIR (NET) qualified candidates for the post of one Junior Research Fellow for period of one year extendable by two years on an annual basis (12, 000 p.m. + HRA for first two years, 14, 000 p.m.+ HRA for third year) in the DBT funded project entitled “Understanding the interplay of cytokines and signaling molecules in fish resistant and susceptible to A. hydrophilla induced ulcerative disease syndrome (USD)” (BT/PR13883/AAQ/03/516/2010)
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR JRF
M. Sc in Zoology/ Microbiology/ Life Sciences with at least 60% marks. Candidates with experience in immunology, molecular biology would be given a preference.
2. Applications are also invited for the position of lab assistant (10,000 pm consolidated) for period of one year extendable by two years on an annual basis for the above mentioned project.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION FOR LABORATORY ASSISTANT
The candidate should be 12 standard pass and have experience in maintaining and handling live fish. Experience in MS-Office and internet is also required for the post.
