Eligible and interested candidates are invited for the interview for purely temporary positions in the following Areas under various sponsored projects tenable at NBRI:-
Area I: Ethnopharmacology
POST: Project Assistant Level II
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: 1st Class B. Pharma with pharmacology/Chemistry as one of the subject
UPPER AGE LIMIT: 28 years
POST: Project Assistant Level III
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: 1st class M.Sc. in Pharmacology/Chemistry with two years research experience OR 1st Class M. Pharma
UPPER AGE LIMIT: 32 years
Area II: Plant Biodiversity and Conservation Biology
POST: Project Assistant Level II
UPPER AGE LIMIT: 28 years
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Ist class M.Sc. in Plant Science/ Botany/ Life Science
DESIRABLE: Basic knowledge of Taxonomy /Plant reproductive biology & computer application
AREA III: BIOTECHNOLOGY /BIOINFORMATICS
POST: Project Assistant Level II
UPPER AGE LIMIT: 28 years
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS : Ist Class M.Sc./ B.Tech in Bioinformatics.
DESIRABLE: Experience in using bioinformatics tools and coding programmes in Perl language.

DATE AND VENUE OF INTERVIEW:
For Area I: 23-08-2011, for Area II : on 24-08-2011 & for Area III: on 29-08-2011 at 11:00 AM in the Conference Room, (T.N. Khushoo Block) NBRI, Lucknow
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
a)Age relaxation for SC/ST candidates 05 years and OBC candidates 03 years as per Government of India instructions.
b) The Application form will be provided at the venue on the date of Interview. However, candidates may download the application form in advance from the website www.nbri.res.in. At the time of interview candidates should bring one latest photograph, attested copy of certificates of examinations passed (starting from matriculation), certificate indicating date of birth, caste certificate (in case of SC/ST/OBC) and experience certificate, etc. Tentative mark sheets/certificates and 'result awaited' will not be considered. All eligible candidates are requested to be present at the venue on the said date 30 minutes before the scheduled time for necessary formalities.
c) MODE OF SELECTION: Through Interview.
d) NATURE OF POSITION: Temporary on contract basis and co- terminus with the sponsored projects.
