1.      PROJECT ASSISTANT LEVEL-III

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION : Ist Class M.Sc. or equivalent in the area of (Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Life Sciences/Molecular Biology/Microbiology) OR Chemical Sciences (Natural Product  Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry/Synthetic Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/analytical chemistry), with at least 2 years experience after M.Sc. or M. Pharma.

DESIRABLE: Practical Experience in relevant areas using modern techniques with proven record and should knowledge of subject.

STIPEND: Rs.14,000/- (fixed) per month

AGE LIMIT: 32 years (25.08.2011)

2. PROJECT ASSISTANT LEVEL-II

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION: Ist Class M.Sc./M.Pharma or equivalent in Biological, Chemical Sciences and Bio-informatics with sound knowledge of the relevant subject.

DESIRABLE: Practical research experience in the areas mentioned above.

STIPEND:  Rs.12,000/- (fixed) per month

AGE LIMIT: 28 years (25.08.2011)

Relaxation of age is admissible for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/Women/Physically Handicapped categories as per Govt. rules). Relaxation in the upper age limit of 5 years is also applicable for persons who had ordinarily been domiciled in the state of J&K during the period of 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989 subject to production of certificate from the concerned District Magistrate in the J&K within whose jurisdiction he/she had ordinarily been resided or from any other authority designated in this behalf by the Govt. of J&K to the effect that he/she had ordinarily being domiciled in the J&K during the period of 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989.

TENURE: ONE YEAR: likely to be extended.

DATE OF INTERVIEW: 16.08.2011 Time: 8.30 AM Venue : Conference Hall, IIIM, Jammu.

Candidates should bring along with them original testimonials and Xerox copies of certificates of educational qualification, Date of birth, Caste, Domicile certificate etc. and also a passport size photograph.
