PROJECT VACANCIES (JRF/SRF/RA) AT THAPAR UNIVERSITY

NAME OF THE PROJECT: “Kinetic and Thermodynamic Studies on the Effect of Chaotropic and Kosmotropic Cosolvents on Horse Ferrocytochrome c”

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project interfaces chemistry and biology in order to confront the enigmatic issues of structure, folding, energy, motion, and function of heme protein. The protein will be studied by advanced mixing techniques for rapid initiation of folding reactions with a variety of detection methods, including intrinsic and extrinsic fluorescence probes, laser flash photolysis, and H/D exchange labeling experiments with NMR detection.
