One Junior Research Fellow is
required for the project entitled “Enhancement of radiation induced oxidative
stress in Human hepatocellular carcinoma cells by Ellagic Acid” funded by
University Grants Commission ( For 1 Year, extendable only on evaluation) in
the Department of Physiology, University of Calcutta under the supervision of
Sanjit Dey, Associate Professor, Department of Physiology.
Date of Walk-in interview is on
21.08.2012 (Tuesday) at 11 a.m. in the office of the Secretary,
UCSTA, 92 APC Road, Kolkata 700
009.
Eligibility: First Class M.sc. in any branch
of Life Sciences with NET JRF/(Lecturership) / Valid GATE
score or M.Tech ( Biotechnology),
M.Pharm,. The candidates without NET/GATE should have the relevant research experiences
on Cell Culture, Molecular Biology Techniques, Radiation Biology,
Animal Handling Skills, or any proven research
skills in the subject area.
Fellowship will be Rs.
14,000-14,000-16,000 per month as per sanction of the funding agency or
University regulations.
Interested candidates are
requested to bring two sets of complete application furnishing biodata on
plain paper with attested copies
of testimonials and all originals at the time of interview.
(TA/DA is not admissible for
appearing the interview).
