A
Walk-in Interview will be held at Department of Biotechnology, Alagappa
University, Karaikudi - 630 003 on 06.08.2012 (Monday) at 11.00 AM for the
position of JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF) for the CSIR funded research project
entitled “Production, purification and characterization of a-amylase from
marine sediment bacterium Bacillus subtilis S8-18 and its evaluation for
antibiofilm activity against human pathogens”.
QUALIFICATION: First Class M.Sc., in
Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry or equivalent of a
recognized University with NET (JRF).
NET
(LS)/ GATE qualified candidates may also apply.
EMOLUMENTS & DURATION:For NET (JRF) candidate Rs.
16,000 + Admissible HRA per month- for first and second years and Rs. 18000+
Admissible HRA for the third year.
For
NET (LS)/GATE candidate Rs. 12,000 + Admissible HRA per month- for first and
second years and Rs. 14000+ Admissible HRA for the third year.
Candidates
appearing for the Walk-in Interview should bring CV, testimonials, copies of
certificates and all original certificates for verification. No TA/DA will be
paid for attending the interview.
