One Research
Associate ( RA) / Jr. Research fellow ( JRF) / Sr. Research Fellow ( SRF) required
for the project entitled “ Microbial
synthesis of copolymer of Polymer hydroxyl , butyrate from waste cooked oil for
biomedical applications” funded by the CSIR under the guidance of Prof.
P.P. Kundu , department of Polymer Sc. & Technology , C.U.
QUALIFICATION : required for (i) RA –
Ph.D. in Chemistry ( Organic / Physical / Inorganic / Polymer) or Ph. D. in
Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology / Polymer Sc. & Tech. Ph.D. in
Microbiology or M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology / Polymer
Sc. & Tech. with 3 Years of research experience ( Post M.Tech.) with all
least one least one research paper in Science citation Indexed journal .
(ii) JRF – First Class M.Sc. in Chemistry
( Organic / Physical / Polymer Science / NanoTechnology / Microbiology / Bio
Technology / Environmental Science with NETQualification (NET ( LS) / GATE
qualified candidates with Microbiology / biotechnology / Chemistry as one of
the subject in B.Sc. level may also apply) or M.Tech. in Biotechnology /
Chemical Engineering) / Chemical Technology / Polymer Science & Technology
with GATE ( JRF).
(III) SRF – M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering / Chemical Technology /
Polymer Science & Technology with at least 60% marks.
FELLOWSHIP (i) for RA – rs. 22000/- admissible allowance as per sanction of
CSIR .
However a selected RA
may be placed in the higher stipend if there is ample justification and such
recommendation is made by the discipline wise selection committee and approved
by DG, CSIR.
( iii) for M.Sc. JRF
( NET) or M.Tech. ( GATE- JRF) Rs. 16000 in the slab of Rs. 16000-16000-18000+adm.
Allowance as per sanction of CSIR . JRF NET ( LS) or M.Sc. GATE are eligible to
get fellowship @ Rs. 12000 in the slab of Rs. 12000-12000-14000-adm. Allowance
as per sanction of the CSIR.
UPPER AGE LIMIT :28 yrs. For JRF , 32 Years for SRF and 32 Years for RA as on 01.07.2012(
5 yrs reluxable in case of SC/ST/ Woman candidates). Apply with a detailed
